Ladies (one size fits all) SHORT SLEEVE CHEMISE
Made from a cotton muslin for easy care and comfort. This great chemise has a ribbon gathered neck line that can be easily adjusted, short sleeves that have beading lace, that when used makes a small ruffle at the sleeve. A decorative growth tuck is placed near the bottom of the dress.
This is a great item for summer and short sleeve gowns, and comes in ladies and girls sizes.
Some of the earliest surviving examples of underwear are among the most essential -shirt, smock, shift or chemise. This very basic attire was simply shaped with long sleeves, and sometimes a collar and cuffs, or a drawstring at the neckline to shape and gather the chemise.
