Dear littlehuggs,
Karen and all at Littlehuggs-
We received the dress this week with plenty of time to spare before my daughter needed it for school. We both were ecstatic about the dress -- it is beautiful. Thank you so much! - susan
Dear littlehuggs,
Karen, I just wanted to tell you thank you again for the dress and mop hat. They were beautiful! I wore an apron with ribbon
to match the dress for several occasions for the kids this year as Mrs. Santa to read stories to them and it was a big hit.
Got a lot of comments from the parents who said I really did look like Mrs. Clause who actually helped Santa and baked cookies,
'cause they couldn't see someone in fur and velvet in the kitchen! LOL
So thank you again for making it a wonderful Christmas story time!
Dear littlehuggs,
I received the lovely velvet cape and have left you well deserved positive feedback. I will definitely shop with you again. I apologize for it taking so long to acknowledge the receipt but my mother was recently admitted to the hospital and this is the first evening that I've been back home. Thanks so much and have a truly wonderful holiday season. Liz Oct. 30, 2011
I'm attaching a picture using her old dress from you guys (that she wore for 3 years but has now outgrown... in another year or so, my youngest will be able to wear it!). It was used for the following costumes: pirate (multiple times, Rennaissance Fair, GenCon and ACen conventions... we pinned up the front on either side of her hips to show a little leg for this version, added different belts and purses, a brooch, plus a plastic sword), pilgrim girl (Halloween and school play... added collar, cuffs, apron and hat), Mistress Mary Quite Contrary (school play "Once Upon a Shoe"... added apron and collar), colonial girl (Halloween...used much the same as the pilgrim but used a lacy handkerchief around the neck and wore a mob cap), and finally as Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" for the school play this past year (added a pretty ruffled apron that had been my mom's in the 50s! [The dress was worn by 3 different girls and was cleaned between performances]). The dress was also out and out played in when the kids would do dress up for fun on a rainy day. It's been washed numerous times and hung to dry, yet it still looks new.
My oldest daughter has some sensory issues, but your dress was very comfortable for her to wear--a lot of the reason that it got so much use. Store bought costumes drive her nuts as she is always complaining about them being itchy.
This dress TOTALLY was worth the cost!
Now that she's grown out of it, we are updating with a new short sleeved version (slightly different in color) for a whole 'nother round of costumes and play.
Thank you for making such an excellently well made, well designed product!

Subject: recent order
Hi Karen,
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to say Thank You for the dress I ordered from you earlier this month. The dress was beautifully crafted and I am quite pleased. I have sewn since I was a young girl (I'm 59 now) and have made everything from doll's clothes to flower girl dresses for a niece's wedding. I am a member of a Minueman Company and wanted this dress for my costume, but really wasn't sure I wanted to attempt making my own. The dress is great, and the alterations I made were very easy to do. I am very happy with my purchase and will be wearing ti for the first time in a 4th of July parade. I can't wait!
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Sue from, MA
"As costumer for school theatrical productions, I usually do my own sewing.
Short of time this spring, I relied upon Littlehuggs for two period dresses
and I was deeply impressed with the results: well-made, good value, careful
attention to detail and attentive customer service beyond anything I would
have expected. Karen aims to please and her work is beautiful. I recommend
Littlehuggs highly and would order from them again without hesitation.

Hello Littlehuggs,
I got the order today and just wanted to tell you how great the blouse
is. Exactly what I wanted but never thought I'd find. Sure I will be
ordering other items in the future. Great service - great product.

I recently purchased pantaloons and a corset from Littlehuggs and was so thrilled by the quality of the items and personal service that when I needed a corded petticoat, I never even considered shopping elsewhere. Made in the USA!!!! No need to go overseas for poor quality items and no service. THANK YOU LITTLEHUGGS!!!! Lynn S from PA

Subject: I LOVE MY COSTUME
I am overwhelmed with the beautiful costume you created for me.
It exceeded my expectations. All the extra stuff/detail you added I don't know what to say but a big Thank You!!!! (Everything the little pocket on the jacket is so cute) the extra collar/ cuffs.
I tried to take a photo of myself with my Blackberry camera but I can only get a portion of me.
By Saturday I surely will be in the entire ensemble and will forward then a couple of good ones.
Everything is great.
Thank you so much.
I hope to send you many referrals.
Fantastic.

(WE HAD SENT KELLI A THANK YOU FOR A REFERRAL:)
You are very welcome. I do not know if I told you this before but Kinsley, My 8 yr old , who I ordered the costume for was also in The Fiddler on the Roof. It was the High School's play so we had to find a costume in her size. Her costume from you was perfect! We only used the dress part and my mother made a " jumper type" over lay. I don't know what I would have done without Littlehuggs!
Thanks again
Kelli
