To the best of our knowledge the mobcap (mop cap) became very fashionable around 1780"s. Fabrics changed depending where you lived for the next 100 years. They were commonly used during the colonial and revolutionary periods. After the civil war they are seen in photos and art mostly on the serving class.
You pick the color of muslin ( white or beige) and the ribbon color ( white, black, blue purple, lavender. yellow, green, burgundy or pink).
Bonnets are made from 100% cotton muslin, and are washable. Mobcaps are 19 1/2 inches around, with a reinforced button hole for the ribbon. Ribbon is long enough to lay the hat out for ironing after it is washed.

Because of the difference in manufactures sizing today, just small medium or large will not be excepted. Send inch only measurements, for bust, waist, length from waist to floor . Then we will adjust according.
