Littlehuggs is located here in Freeport. We are anxious to help you with the best costume you can get to make the celebration a fantastic event for you!

Friday, 29 August
**7:00 PM Lincoln, Douglas and troupe arrive at Silvercreek Steam Train Depot followed by torch light parade to the Silver Creek Museum (across the road). Then there will be a reenactment of an Abolitionist Rally followed by a reception hosted by the Silver Creek Museum.
Saturday, 30 August
**10:30 AM Parade through downtown Freeport.
**1:30 PM Reunion Tour '08 presentation at Debate Square by Lincoln, Douglas, et al.
**2:30 PM Dedication of Debate Square
**8:00 PM Grand Ball at the Masonic Temple featuring the First Brigade Band.
Sunday, 31 August
**11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Art in the Park -- art festival and family day in Krape Park.
Monday, 1 September
**11:00 AM to 5:00 PM The Flavor of Lincoln's Freeport -- ethnic food and music festival at Taylor Park

LINCOLN-DOUGLAS DEBATE SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION Freeport. Various locations. Join in the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Freeport Lincoln-Douglas Debate which will offer history, pageantry, and fun as Freeport commemorates the 1858 debate between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A.
